Inani is an 18 km stretch of the Cox's Bazar coast in Ukhia upazila, about 27 km south of town along Marine Drive, known for the black-and-green coral boulders that break the sand and are most exposed in summer and the rainy season. Weather caution
The coral rocks are sharp and slippery, and in the June–September monsoon the surf drives hard against them; the sea is rough and the beach largely deserted. April–May and October–November are cyclone season, and the hill slopes along Marine Drive can slip in heavy monsoon rain.
