Best time to visit
November, December, January, February
November to February is dry and pleasant, so walking the open lawns and brick monuments is comfortable and the grounds are not waterlogged.
Weather caution
Bagerhat is a coastal district: April-May and October-November are cyclone season, so check the weather signal before travelling. June-September monsoon rain turns the grounds muddy, and March-May afternoons climb above 35 C.
